Essay:
Thank goodness for Shaun. During a trying time for finding clinical education sites, Shaun went above and beyond to help our students at River Valley Community College, not only complete their clinical education experience, but to excel and shine clinically. He was always positive during the clinical experience and works so well at getting the students to challenge themselves during the experience. Shaun's commitment to our clinical education program has been unmatched. In an 8 month time span, Shaun mentored 4 different students with varying needs and strengths. The students always evaluate him highly because his energy and skill allows for a fulfilling clinical experience for all of the students who have the privilege of working with him. Enthusiastic just cannot describe Shaun. He is a joy to work with for both myself and the students.
His upbeat attitude during a global pandemic is refreshing.
