Essay:
Glenna was very welcoming during my first week of my full time affiliation. I quickly build my confidence and felt as part of the time under her supervision. She took extra time to educate me. On my first meeting with Glenna, she stated "there are no stupid questions" and from there I took every opportunity to learn by asking questions. Glenna arranged meetings every week where she pointed out my weaknesses and strengths. Glenna made my experience the best 8 weeks of my PTA program. The experience and knowledge she offered will definitely serve as a key factor in grooming my career.

Ian is an extraordinarily intelligent physical therapist assistant. He demonstrates passion towards his field and enjoys the patient interaction in the acute setting. I have learned so much from Ian as my clinical instructor in just a short period of time and he really made my experience in the inpatient setting an enjoyable one, allowing me to gain the most out of treating each patient. He is great at communicating with the various staff members on the acute rehab unit to ensure quality care for his patients. I believe Ian deserves this award due to his dedication and commitment to the physical therapy field and his passion for treating patients with a functional outlook to increase their quality of life. He was certainly an optimal role model for me and am lucky to have had him as a clinical instructor as I aspire to gain his qualities throughout my physical therapist assistant career.

During breaks and down times, Wendy utilized the time to offer some of her experience. Wendy scheduled weekly meetings where we discussed my goals, weaknesses and strengths.
