Essay:
Julie Charron is a PTA, who also is the SCCE and Rehab Director of Autumn Lakes Healthcare at Bucks Hill in Waterbury CT. Julie serves many roles at her facility, and despite being very busy, she consistently takes PTA students for clinical experiences. Julie truly has a passion for assisting students to transition into the clinical arena, providing a very supportive, comfortable, yet challenging clinical experience. Julie consistently adapts her style of clinical supervision and support according to the students' needs. She has been able to be very supportive of students with various personality traits and clinical accommodations. Julie has been able to share her passion for the subacute/SNF setting with students. She is a role model for being a clinical instructor as a PTA and giving back to the profession. I am very honored to have Julie as one of our clinical education faculty for the CT State-NV PTA Program.
