Essay:
Eleni started being a CI for my students soon after she graduated from our program. She works in a local school system treating kids with a large variety of physical disabilities. He patients vary from elementary school to high school aged kids. Finding Pediatric sites for clinical internships is difficulty, but Eleni is always willing to host a student in all three of our internships.
Being a former student of our program, Eleni understands the challenges our students are facing in our program. She is kind and nurturing to all her students. She has a gentle way of introducing her PTA students to her young patients who often have a difficult time interacting/listening to new therapists. Eleni is a natural educator. She is great at teaching her student how to make therapy "fun" so that her patients will engage and follow directions. Our students love working with Eleni because of her demeanor, patience, and knowledge.
